when it’s time to go your own way….

  • How far

    How far?

One of the most defining characteristics of an aircraft is range—how far it can fly non-stop.

    Different missions demand different capabilities:

600–900 NM: Perfect for regional hops across Australia or between islands in the Pacific (e.g., Cessna Caravan, King Air 200)

1,200–1,800 NM: Suits direct flights between cities like Sydney and Darwin or Brisbane and Port Moresby (e.g., Phenom 300, Citation CJ4)

2,000–4,000+ NM: Ideal for international operations across Southeast Asia, New Zealand, or into the Middle East (e.g., Challenger 350, Gulfstream G450+)

When we model potential aircraft, range is one of the key variables we evaluate based on your most likely routes.

  • How many?

Another critical factor is how many people you want to carry—and how often.

1–4 passengers: Typical for executive travel or owner-pilot operations

5–8 passengers: Common for business owners, family use, or FIFO work

9+ passengers: Suits corporates, syndicates, or resort/charter use

Beyond seat count, we also consider cabin layout, stand-up height, baggage space, and lavatory requirements.

  • How much?

Aircraft vary greatly in price—not just to buy, but also to operate and maintain.

Here’s a simplified guide to typical pricing

Light Turboprop Cessna Caravan, King Air 200 $2M–$4M

Light Jet Phenom 100, Citation Mustang $3M–$6M

    Midsize Jet Citation XLS+, Phenom 300 $6M–$12M

Large Cabin Jet Gulfstream G450+, Falcon 900 $15M–$50M+

Of course purchase price is just one element—so we’ll model total ownership costs including insurance, fuel, crew, landing fees, hangarage, maintenance and depreciation.

We’ll combine your mission profile with industry insights, real-world operating costs and aircraft performance data to build a custom aircraft acquisition model just for you.

This allows you to:

  • Shortlist aircraft that fit your mission

  • Eliminate unsuitable (but sometimes popular) options

  • Obtain a clear, confident recommendation

We’re brand and dealer agnostic - we work for you, so you’ll benefit from objective advice, deep market knowledge and a proven process that removes the uncertainty from high-value aircraft purchases.
