Simon is one of the best instructors I’ve had because of his extensive flying background and also his ability to pass on his experience to the student in a way that is easy to understand. Most licenced pilots in Australia are excellent at being a pilot, but not every pilot is a great instructor. Simon is both a great pilot and also a great instructor. 

He has a very good style of teaching focusing on techniques to make flying uncomplicated and safe for the student. I’ve appreciated the constant feedback he gives me and more importantly suggestions to improve or overcome areas that take more time to master. Simon is very patient. Always willing to listen to questions and providing very detailed answers to help the student fully understand the subject matter. Simon is a very encouraging instructor but will also critique and motivate students to be all they can.  Simon definitely has a passion for teaching and especially helping his students succeed.
